Late April is a special time of year. With graduation just weeks away, student focus is shifting from courses and finals to the excitement of career launches to follow. Mixed emotions might best describe the passing of possibly one's last 'spring break' combined with the start of recognition events celebrating a year well spent.
On April 16th the majority of the graduating class joined Claremont McKenna College undergraduate 'Scholars' in Los Angeles for an evening with program benefactor Robert Day. (See photos and read more in "latest news" below.)
In the Admission office there is a sense of proud calm as the sixth class of Master's in Finance program - the Class of 2015 - prepares to leave campus and the seventh class - the Class of 2016 - makes preparations to arrive in August. The 17 incoming members of the Class of 2016 who participated in Preview Day activities on April 3rd offered staff and faculty every reason to anticipate another outstanding class and year.
“The really valuable career support I have here attracted me to come back to school - to learn the other side of finance after working on Wall Street. Coming back here, I learned a lot - I’ve been pushed academically.”
